Can I visit Neuschwanstein Castle on the way to Innsbruck?

Yes. You can upgrade your transfer into a scenic tour with a stop at Neuschwanstein Castle.
We typically allow:

  • 2–3 hours at the castle area

  • Time for Mary's Bridge (bridge viewpoint)

  • Optional castle interior visit (tickets we will reserve in advance for you)

Is this a private or shared tour?

This is a private tour only for you and your friends or family, but inside of castle you will be in a group of others 30-40 persons. This is the only way to visit castle. 

Do you provide guided tours inside Neuschwanstein Castle?

We do not guide inside the castle (only official guides from castle allowed to do it), but:

  • We assist with ticket reservation in advance

  • We guide you to the castle so that you wont be late to the tour inside of castle and do not need to search for entry

  • We guide you around the exterior, viewpoints, and best photo spots

When is the best time to visit Neuschwanstein and Innsbruck?

  • Spring–Autumn (Apr–Oct): best weather and access, however in August and September it could be very crowded. 

  • Winter (Dec–Mar): magical snow scenery, fewer crowds (but Mary's bridge access may vary)

Are Neuschwanstein tickets included?

Tickets are not included by default because:

  • We reserve them in advance, but you can pay on the day of tour. That keep us flexible with changes and cancellations

  • Many travelers prefer flexibility and may not choose to go inside of castle, preferring observing from outside and spending more time on other sights. 

  • We can advise you on how to secure tickets in advance
